Hope it helps. 1 connect your ipod and open itunes 2 open the device manager 3 look for the portable devices and find the apple ipod or wherever that is listed End all of these processes. Trying to help people who are frustrated as I was. If there's another computer around, test the iPod on it to find out if the original one is faulty.
