Just a word of advice to anyone trying this that cares about the display, go easy on the alcohol and make sure you're not harming the display. One worked, the other worked sometimes, especially when I forced it to one side. definitely do this at your own risk, but with a tiny screwdriver you can get the foil out if you don't want it there ...
