Forget the network, and reboot your phone. Did you try resetting your iPhone network settings by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings? Users with a 3GS and several with 4GS where not effected. Only the GPS stopped working, so the Wi-Fi antenna must be somewhere else.
