I followed the instructions extremely well, and on the last step, I went to clip the digitizer into it's spot when low and behold the little plastic clip broke off also. Worse case if it doesnt work, remove the board from the housing for about 5 minutes.

Hi I dropped my Iphone on rocks, the LCD panel brok and i replaced it with the front panel kit (the front panel and LCD screen kit). Turns out that I cooked the LCD during digitized replacement. Repair is more straightforward than the first iPhone. I used a thin plastic piece, cut to the size of the ribbon cable and push it in, on top of the ribbon cable to thicken it.
