I never solved or found a fix to either problem. My Iphone Ear Speaker Not Working I think it must be somewhere around the ear speaker... I have however identified a small rubber piece that I have no idea where it came from and so i'm not sure where it should go.... Just to make everything clear it's step 14 of this guide for the earpiece. Was this answer helpful? It could of been the contacts were not aligned properly, but everything looked right and I adjusted it twice. Check This Out In the following model of 5s the problem is solved by a permentaly attached metal bracket that's stuck.
